1. The visuals. Do you have a banner which tells people about the value you bring to your work? Is your photo professional and up to date? The “first impressions” of the visual elements are key to hooking people into your profile
2. It’s all about “dwell time” under the new algorithm, you want people to visit your profile and remain on it because it’s engaging
3. You need to post at least twice a week to boost the visibility of your profile
4. If you read my Recruiters Guide to a Clean CV, then you have done a lot of the groundwork for the Experience section of your profile already. If not, each employment point requires around a paragraph of text explaining your role and that should be followed by bullet points outlining key achievements
5. You’re allowed 100 skills, use that limit within what is relevant to your career
