Senior Genesys Cloud Engineer / Solution Architect
Location: Fully Remote working with Global Clients
Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000, dependent on experience
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Genesys Cloud professional to take a hands-on, lead role across the full delivery lifecycle, from solution design through to implementation and go-live. This is a senior position for someone who can own the architecture of a project and do the engineering themselves, working directly with clients and internal delivery teams.
This is not a support-desk position. You will be expected to lead projects, make and defend design decisions, and deliver working solutions rather than solely resolve tickets.
What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of Genesys Cloud CX solutions
- Act as primary or lead engineer on client projects, owning the technical outcome
- Design and build telephony (SIP), routing, IVR and integration components
- Translate client requirements into robust, scalable architecture
- Work alongside and support more junior engineers
- Present and explain solutions credibly to technical and senior business stakeholders
What we are looking for
- Significant hands-on experience implementing Genesys Cloud, beyond support
- Demonstrable experience as a primary engineer, lead engineer or solution architect on full Genesys Cloud projects
- Strong telephony and SIP / Telco knowledge
- The ability to lead a project independently and take ownership of delivery
- Confident, clear communication, comfortable presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
- A practical, delivery-focused approach and a strong professional attitude
Desirable
- Genesys Cloud certifications (If you don’t have these we will pay for you to take them)
- Experience integrating Genesys Cloud with CRM, WFM or AI and automation tooling
- Background in a consultancy or systems integrator environment
